When we have our routine deluge of rain nowadays, I often think about a time when that just never happened. I cannot remember “rain bursts”? in existence. If there ever was one it would definitely have accompanied a serious thunderstorm; but even then, it just isn’t in my memory. The first time I experienced one of these was in 2008 while I was driving. It was coming down so hard all traffic in Mississauga (if you can imagine) had to stop and pull over due to lack of visibility. It was WILD. Anyhoo, this photo is of a deluge, cloud burst, torrent of water coming down whilst I sit waiting in the drive through at Timmies in Arlington Park. This is the new norm. Pretty though!
